INTRODUCTION TO JEWELLERY DESIGN
Certificate Course For  Personal Skills and Knowledge Enhancement.

Learn  element  of  jewellery designing  such as  free  shading,  setting and  textures.  Acquire  knowledge  on different  types of gemstones,

diamond and  metal  that  are an  intrinsic  part  of  jewellery  design.  Understand  different  surfaces,  solids, and  elements  of  geometrical 

construction  of  plain  surfaces,  learn  relation  between  shapes  and  volumes  and  understand salient ways to sketch a three dimensional  

view of object by practicing insertion of various  shapes  in a  systematic  application  when designing jewellery. Understand the significance 

of  lighting  and  its  resultant  effects on  various  shapes  and  object and  the application of  the use of  light  to design  jewellery. Investigate 

different rendering methods by using watercolors, pastels, markers and gouaches.
